PURPOSE OF THE ARIZONA
STATE MEETINGS
The Arizona State Committee is
comprised of the Chapter Presidents, the State Director and the State
Treasurer. This is the governing body of
the state organization. The Arizona State
committee meets three times a year; at the January State
meeting, at the State Samboree in March, and in October. The Chapter Presidents provide the leadership
and direction to the Arizona State Staff members, therefore attendance at these
meetings is vital to the successful operation of the organization. The Chapter Presidents are the ones who are
able to vote on matters brought before the state committee. All Good Sam members are invited and
encouraged to attend any state meeting.
The Arizona State Staff is
appointed by the State Director and serves during his or her term of office. Their function is to help with state
activities and be a liaison with the Chapters. The members of State Staff are not on the
State Committee and have no voting power.
